This project encompasses the complete teardown remodel of a 3500 sq. ft. home, eventually expanded to 5000 sq. ft., for a young couple with three young children. The house includes 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a three-car garage. The design is centered around capturing the diverse expressions of natural light of and shadow play, characteristic of California’s coastal architecture, and maximizing the enjoyment of ocean breeze throughout the space, all while ensuring privacy in the open layout.
